I'm Philip, a vegan communist web-developer from Bath.
The idea behind this website, as summarised on the home-page, is also explored in the first post here. It's possible I put stuff here because I know no-one will read it, thereby avoiding judgement and circumventing failure. While that may be true, this site is also about asserting autonomy and identity on an internet which no longer feels like ours anymore. It's a rejection of the short-form video content that makes us all feel worse, that focuses on aesthetics and trends and rejects authenticity and subtlety. Like many parts of technology, maybe we had it right the first time. Maybe static, text-based pages were what we needed all along. Pages that really represent the person behind them. Pages where the only way to interact, is to reach out and form a connection with its author...
